Esta excursión nos dará a conocer muchos de los lugares más bellos e interesantes de la mayor de las islas que componen este pequeño país. La Valetta, actual capital de Malta, es una ciudad fortificada de ordenadas callejuelas y curiosos edificios de aspecto petreo que cuenta con numerosos atractivos: el Gran Puerto, el Fuerte de St. Angelo, la Co-Catedral de San Juan con una espectacular alfombra de mármol compuesta por las tumbas de los famosos caballeros de la Orden de Malta,... así como el gran ambiente de su popular mercadillo y sus terrazas. Mdina es la antigua capital de Malta, típica ciudad medieval desde donde sus murallas se divisa una de las más esplendorosas vistas de la isla. Llamada la “Ciudad del silencio, sus palacios renancentistas y medievales, iglesias y fortificaciones nos transporta a épocas pasadas. También visitaremos la Iglesia de Mosta, con sus frescos y su gran cúpula. Duración aproximada: 5 horas.

Valletta, city of the knights is the capital of the island. We will walk to the Upper Barracca Gardens for a panoramic view of the Grand Harbor. Then on to St. John's Co-Cathedral, Malta's greatest treasure, including the famous painting by Caravaggio. We proceed to the Grand Master's Palace which houses Parliament and the offices of the President of Malta. In this building we visit the State Rooms, Tapestry Chamber and Armory.

Later we will visit the ancient capital: Mdina, the “silent city”, with its defense bastions dating back to the 9th century. We walk through the town visiting St. Paul’s cathedral and then to the bastions for a panoramic view of the island. Then on to Mosta Cathedral with its elegant dome and interesting frescoes.
