DAY 1 -- ISTANBUL - Daily Arrival Year Round

DAY 2 -- ISTANBUL (BL)
We dive right into this fascinating city with visits to its top sights: Topkapi, the palace of the Sultans for centuries; Hagia Sophia, the greatest church in Christendom for a thousand years; the Blue Mosque, with its exquisite blue tiles; the Byzantine Hippodrome, scene of chariot races and gladiator combat; and the eerie Sunken Palace cistern beneath it. Then a drive through modern neighborhoods brings us to the ancient city walls and the Kariye Museum (Chora Church), filled with brilliant Byzantine mosaics.

DAY 3 -- ISTANBUL (BL)
After breakfast we board a ferryboat, help ourselves to fresh Turkish coffee or tea, and cruise northward along the Bosphorus, the strait which separates Europe and Asia. Disembarking at a fishing village, we enjoy a seafood lunch at a local restaurant, then drive south to go on a shopping spree at the labyrinth of the Grand Bazaar. DAY 4 - ANKARA & CAPPADOCIA (BLD)
We fly to Ankara for a visit to the world-famous Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, filled with Hittite treasures. Then we drive south toward Cappadocia, stopping on the way at Agizkarahan to see the impressive Seljuk Turkish camel caravanserai, once a way-station on the famed Silk Road. We continue to Uçhisar to visit the natural citadel hollowed from the soft volcanic rock, and then spend the night in nearby Ürgüp. DAY 5 - CAPPADOCIA / Istanbul (BL)
First we visit the Göreme Valley, now an open-air museum with dozens of beautiful cave-churches cut from the living rock, then the monastic valley of Zelve. We take a short drive and descend into the labyrinth at Kaymakli or Derinkuyu, a veritable underground city carved from the volcanic tuff by early Christians as a refuge in case of danger and hostile raids. After visiting the Cappadocian towns of Avanos - famous for its potters - and Ortahisar, we return to Ankara for our flight back to Istanbul Private air-conditioned vehicle, private chauffeur for all your tours and transfers in Turkey and Egypt .

DAY 6 - DEPARTURE FOR CAIRO (cB)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to connect with your flight to Cairo. Where our local rep meets you at the airport and escorts you to your hotel. Complimentary visa issued upon arrival for American Canadians, Australians, NZ, EU, Singaporean & Japanese citizens.

As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops, at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign with the name you prefer to use for the sign .
Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel

DAY 7 - CAIRO (BLD)
The renowned Egyptian Museum, filled with the wealth of the pharaohs, is our first stop on to the Royal Manial Palace of Egypt's last Crown Prince : "Mohamed Ali". Following lunch at the charming local Restaurant, we drive to Giza for a visit to the Sphinx and the valley temple, and a tour of the Pyramids.The museum of the Royal Barge of Cheops The museum is built over the rectangular pit that housed the Royal Barge for thousands of years , the wooden boat was readied for the king's daily journey with the sun god, Ra . Discovered in 1954, in a completely dismantled state, the 43-metre (140-foot) cedar boat is a rare window on the Royal boats used by the kings of Ancient Egypt.

DAY 8 - CAIRO (B)

DAY 9 - LUXOR (BLD)
We fly very early in the morning to Luxor , upon arrival, our local guide will meet you at the airport and proceed to cross the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch in Luxor, we tour the Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, and visit the Sacred Lake . We have a quick look at the great temple of Amon Ra at Luxor on our way to the airport for our flight back to Cairo, and our hotel. DAY 10 - DEPARTURE (B)
