DAY
1 - ATHENS- Daily Arrival : March -Nov -Private Transfers at all times
Arrive at Athens Airport, where you will be greeted by our staff
and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like. Take your first look
at this great ancient-modern city. Wander through the Plaka, and up
to the Acropolis if you like, guidebook in hand.
DAY
2 - ATHENS PRIVATE CITY TOUR (BL)
After breakfast, half day private tour : Private air-conditioned vehicle,
private chauffeur , private guide :
We tour the great Greek capital, including Constitution (Syntagma)
Square, Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National
Library. Driving down Herod Atticus street you will see the Evzones
in their picturesque uniforms and the Presidential Palace. On your way
to the Acropolis, you will see the Panathenaic Stadium (where the first
Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896), the Temple of the
Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. The afternoon at leisure. Lunch is
included at a charming local restaurant .
DAY
3 - ARGOLIS- Group Day Tour (BL)
Leave Athens along the Saronic Gulf coastal road to the Corinth Canal,
which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Drive on to Mycenae,
the Homeric City of the Atreides, "rich in gold" of the ancient poets.
(Visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and the Royal Tombs). Drive
through the fertile plain of Argolis to Nafplion, a picturesque
town nestled at the foot of the Palamidi Fortress. After lunch, leave
for Epidavros to visit the theater (4th Century B.C.), famous
for its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by the national
road connecting Epidavros with Corinth. Lunch in Mycanae or Nafplion.
DAY
4 - Delphi or Cape Sounion
depending on the Day (BL)
Delphi - Group Tour :
Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes
connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova (short
stop on the way back). Arrive at Delphi, the center of Ancient World
- the «Omphalos» (Navel of Earth) - whose prestige extended
far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. on the slopes of Mount
Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the
ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the
Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces
of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete
Aghias . Lunch in the modern village of Delphi, return to Athens by
the same route.
Cape
Sounion ( Afternoon- Group Tour) :
Drive
along the coastal road, past the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni
and Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, CAPE SOUNION, where
the white marble pillars of the temple Posseidon stand. On the way you
have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands . After
visiting the Temple of Posseidon, you have time to walk at leisure on
the rocky promontory of Sounion.
DAY
5 - DEPARTURE FOR CAIRO (B) Private Transfers
at all times
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to connect with your flight
to Cairo.
Air fare is included in economy class Athens Cairo , tax included .
Where our local rep meets you at the airport and escorts you to your
hotel. Complimentary visa issued upon arrival for American ,
EU , Canadians , Australian, NZ , Mexican, Singaporean and Japanese
citizens.
Visa
will be issued upon arrival. As you exit the gate, you will pass through
a door or two , down some stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until
you pass the duty free shops, at the end of a wide corridor , you will
see the security officers. There you will be met by a local representative,
who will be holding a sign with the name you prefer to use for the sign
.
Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp
from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport
officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport
as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist
you in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting
the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle)
to the hotel
DAY
6 - CAIRO (BLD)
Private Egyptologist-Private Air-Conditioned Vehicle & private chauffeur
The renowned Egyptian Museum, filled with the wealth of the pharaohs,
and including the Mummies room and King Tut's gold treasure room , is
our first stop . Following lunch at Hadaik El-Azhar or Naguib Mahfouz
Restaurant, we tour the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque,
Abdeen Palace Museum and Sultan Hassan Madrassa , we conclude the day
with a treasure hunt walking tour of Khan El-Khalili bazaar district.
Dinner is included at La Bodega restaurant.
DAY
7 - CAIRO - GIZA - Home Hosted Dinner (BLD)
Private Egyptologist-Private Air-Conditioned Vehicle & private chauffeur
Today we drive to Giza for a visit to Cheops Royal Barge Museum
, the Sphinx and the valley temple, and a tour of the
Pyramids. After lunch at the Mena House we head south to Memphis
and Sakkara , including the Step Pyramid, the Nobles Mastabas and Imhotep
Museum.

evening we'll venture where few ordinary visitors ever tread . . . right
into the homes of some of the people of Cairo ! You'll be invited to
a family dinner, and while you enjoy wholesome home-cooked specialties,
you'll learn about and appreciate the outlook, aspirations, and way
of life of your hosts. Be assured, as curious as you may be about your
new friends, they're sure to have questions about your own background.
Once the ice is broken, you'll enjoy a lively evening, and find that
you have more in common than you ever suspected. Of course, you may
enjoy a quiet evening with your travel companions, by letting us know
your preferences.
DAY
8 - Cairo / LUXOR (BL)
Private Egyptologist-Private Air-Conditioned Vehicle & private chauffeur
(Breakfast Box) . Very early morning transfer to Cairo Airport for your
flight to Luxor ( economy class, tax included). In Luxor we cross the
Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings, including King Tut's Tomb,
Valley of the Queen and Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi
of Mammon. Return to one of the deluxe hotels for lunch
, after which we tour the Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, and
visit the Sacred Lake . We have a quick look at the great temple
of Amon Ra at Luxor on our way to the airport for our
flight back to Cairo, and our hotel .
DAY
9 - Cairo / Rome (B) Private Transfers at
all times
After a full breakfast, our staff escorts you to the airport for your
flight to Rome, air fare is included in our rate, in economy class,
tax included.
You'll
arrive today at Rome's Fiumicino Airport, where your Roman host will
be waiting to greet you in your preferred language, be it Spanish, Japanese,
French, or English. After introductions, you'll be escorted in a private
car to the hotel . You'll have a chance to discuss what you'll be doing
over the next few days. Your host will make sure that you're settled
in for the evening, after which you'll have a chance to make your own
acquaintance with the Eternal City.

10 - Rome / Roma - Tour ( Breakfast)
Buffet breakfast at 07:30 AM. Please be ready at the hotel
at 08.30

Visiting: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, St. Peter’s
Basilica. We return to your hotel around 1 PM
After the siesta , we meet you again at 3 PM for your afternoon group
tour : City sightseeing Tour N°2
Visiting: Capitol, Roman Forum the main public square of the ancient
city, site of markets, public ceremonies, and religious rituals
, Colosseum completed in 72 A.D. by Emperor Vespasian,
once the site of gladiatorial bouts and chariot races, and so solidly
constructed that it still is largely intact. You'll continue to

Day
11 - Rome / Florence / Roma ( Breakfast,Lunch )
Buffet
breakfast at 06:30 AM sharp. Departure by deluxe motor coach at 07:00
AM.
On to Florence . Guided sightseeing tour of the cradle of the Renaissance.
Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del
Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John, the Academy
of Fine Arts Gallery housing the "David" by Michelangelo,
and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan church with Cimabue's famous
crucifix. Rest of the day at leisure for optional sightseeing or shopping.
Lunch is included enroute
Shopping
through the ancient School of Leather, The Piazzale Michelangelo to
see the copy of the David and to admire the view of the City below with
the Arno river and the famous Ponte Vecchio.
We head back to Rome early evening, arriving at your hotel around 21.30
.
Day 12 - Naples / Pompeii ( Breakfast, Lunch )
Enjoy Buffet Breakfast at the hotel : 06:30 AM
We head south at 07.00 AM by deLuxe motorcoach and always escorted by
an English speaking guide along the Sun Route to Naples where we'll
have a short panoramic tour of Naples, then on to Pompeii where the
excavations and the famous Villa dei Misteri can be explored
Lunch is included in a typical restaurant will . Reach Sorrento and
your hotel around 6 PM.
Evening at leisure , explore the charming old city and shopping boutiques
.

may spend the night on the Island of Capri and

Day
13 - Sorrento / Capri ( Breakfast)
Buffet Breakfast in the Hotel.
Our local rep will escort you to the port around 9 AM, in time to board
the 09:30 AM Jet boat , for the over day excursion to Capri , always
escorted by your guide.
Full day excursion to the Island of Capri, visiting the Centre, the
Parco Augusto, with the Faraglioni Rocks,Anacapri with the famous Villa
Saint Michele. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure to explore the
rest of the island on your own .
We meet back at the port no later than 17:30 to board the 18:00 Ferry
back to Sorrento
Evening, for optional local visits, shopping or dining around.
Day 14 - Sorrento - Positano - Amalfi
(BLD)
After
breakfast departure for the captivating Amalfi coast with a panoramic
stop to admire the views of Positano Ravell and Amalfi once a thriving
Marine Republic where you can see the Cathedral of St. Andrew.
Visit of Ravello and its Villa Rufolo which gave the musician Richard
Wagner the inspiration to create one of his most famous operas, “Parsifal”.
Return to Sorrento and your hotel around 6 PM .

15 - Sorrento - Rome (B)
Enjoy Buffet Breakfast in the Hotel
We leave by DeLuxe motorcoach to Rome at 06:45 AM
Arrival at 09:30 AM at Tiburtina Rail Station from where our local rep.
will be waiting for you with a private air-conditioned vehicle and private
chauffeur for your transfer to Rome Airport.
