1 - DEPART NEW YORK - Wednesday - Weekly - Year Round
Board your Lufthansa , Swiss , Air France or British Airways wide-body
jet at New York's John F Kennedy International Airport for your transatlantic
flight to Europe , then on to Cairo.
For
West Coast guests : You need NOT to fly via New York . When you
fly onboard Lufthansa,
British Airways , Air France , etc, then you fly non stop from the West
Coast to Europe then connect to Cairo .

Day
2 - CAIRO- Thursday
Our representative greets you at the airport, helps with formalities,
and whisks you to your hotel. Visa fee is included. Visa will be issued
upon arrival for " American, Australian , NZ , Canadian, EU, Singaporean
& Japanese Citizens, you are responsible for having your passport
valid for at least 6 month beyond the date of arrival.
Visa
will be issued upon arrival.
As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some
stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops,
at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There
you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign
with the name you prefer to use for the sign .
Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp
from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport
officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport
as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you
in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal,
our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel
DAY
3- CAIRO- Friday (BL)
On your first full day in Egypt we show you the Egyptian Museum, including
the Mummy Room and the fabulous treasures Tutankhamon, the Pyramids of
Giza . Those
who are fit and adventurous enough may wish to penetrate into the heart
of the Great Pyramid, to the King's Chamber your ticket is included with
our compliments (or the interior of Kephren Pyramid). Taking
a camel ride (Included) is entirely your own choice! the
Sphinx, the Citadel of Saladin,and the Mohammed Ali Mosque, made of alabaster.
In the evening, we return to the pyramids for a memorable sound-and
light show.
DAY
4 - Board your Nile Cruise in Luxor - Saturday (
or Aswan ) (BLD)
Very
early breakfast. You may board the cruise in Aswan
or Luxor . Transfer to Cairo Airport and fly to
Luxor to board your Nile cruise : Deluxe : M/S Monaco, M/S Mojito , M/S
Monte Carlo or similar.
First Class : M/S Nile Dream . M/S Lady Diana, or similar.
Upon
arrival, we proceed from the airport to tour some of Egypt's greatest
wonders: the tombs of the pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings at Thebes,
and, in the nearby Valley of the Queens, the great funerary temple of
Queen Hatshepsut.
Deir
El Medinah, the first known "Workers Village" these
were the true creative heroes who built the temples & tombs for the
mighty Pharaohs of the Nile Kingdom.
Deir
El Medinah is on Luxor's west bank you get a totally different perspective
on ancient Egyptian life, at the ancient workers' settlement of Deir
el-Medinah. While most of the imposing stone monuments and sites of Egypt
honor the lives and after-lives of royalty, Deir el-Medinah gives us unique
and surprising insights into the ordinary citizens who constructed and
decorated the tombs.
We
also stop at the Colossi of Memnon, mammoth seated statues now standing
alone in a farmer's field. We head for your Nile cruise in
time for lunch
on board . A welcome fruit basket & Egyptian pastries awaits in your
cabin. The afternoon is devoted to Karnak and Luxor temples.
In the evening, we attend the sound-and-light show at the gigantic Great
Temple of Amon at Karnak. Today is a very full day . So please make sure
that you get enough rest when you can. Always have your hat , and bottled
water with you . Avoid sun-stroke, always drink enough water ( bottled
water) , make sure you bring your sun screen. Cruise shore excursiones
are ALWAYS subject to last minute changes in regard to the sequence and
the order in which sites are visited.
DAY
5 -Esna - EDFU - Sunday (BLD)
Full day sailing , you will pass scenery that changed little since Biblical
times.
We cruise by Esna and take our turn to pass through the locks,
on to Edfu, where we dock for the night .
DAY
6 Edfu - KOM OMBO/ ASWAN- Monday (BLD)
After breakfast : we board horse-drawn carriages for the ride to the Temple
of Horus. Return to ship and set sail for Kom Ombo. We explore the
twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek at Kom Ombo, then sail south
to Aswan. In the evening, there's a jolly galabia party aboard.
DAY
7- ASWAN- Tuesday (BLD)
Today
we inspect the Aswan High Dam and the older Victorian-era dam below it,
then visit an ancient red granite quarry. An unfinished obelisk here,
in excellent condition, testifies to the workmanship of ancient Egypt's
artisans. Boarding a motor launch, we return to the Philae temples to
inspect the impressive structures dedicated
to the Ancient Goddess ISIS
We transfer to a graceful felucca, the traditional Nile sailboat,
for a cruise amidst the rocky islands beneath the Aswan High Dam. In The
afternoon , we tour the Nubian Museum. Evening Farewell dinner on board.
DAY
8 - ASWAN / Abu Simbel/ Cairo- Wednesday (B)
After
breakfast , we check-out , fly south to Abu Simbel where your private
air-conditioned vehicle and private guide await you , tour the colossal
temples of Ramses the Great and his Queen Nefertari :
In the larger temple of Ramses the Great : colossal figures of
Ramses are seated with the gods and attended by his queen and daughters.
The smaller temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, who appears
as Hathor, the goddess of love, joy and fertility, symbolized by the benevolent
cow. We explore these fine temple , after which we fly back to Cairo and
your hotel .
DAY
9 - CAIRO/ AMMAN- Thursday (B)
Our representative escorts you to the airport for your Amman flight .Complimentary
Fruit basket awaits you in your room. Our local rep will meet you upon
arrival and help with the transfer to your hotel in Amman .Complimentary
visa is issued upon arrival for American , Australian, NZ, Canadian, EU
, Singaporean & Japanese passport holders. Passport must be valid at least
for 6 month beyond the date of your arrival. Subject to flight availability
and schedule , if you arrive early in the day ,then you will proceed on
to Petra, otherwise for evening arrivals we spend the night in Amman.

DAY
10 - MADABA, KERAK & PETRA- Friday (B)
We drive south along the King's Highway, an ancient caravan route, to
Madaba to visit the church containing the oldest known map of the Holy
Land. Continuing to Mount Nebo, we enjoy the panoramic view of the Promised
Land the way Moses saw it for the first time. Further on, at Kerak, we
tour the ruins of its romantic Crusaders' castle of Renaud de Chatillon,
one of a line which stretched from Aqaba to Turkey. Finally, we arrive
to PETRA . Deluxe : Movenpick Petra or Marriott. First class : Petra panorama
Hotel.
DAY
11 - PETRA - Dead Sea Resort- Saturday (B)
Today the fabulous Nabatean City of Petra awaits us. Made famous in the
Indiana Jones movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark," its ancient temples, tombs
and striking Khazneh (Treasury) were hewn right from the pink and violet
sandstone. We spend a full day here, before we head back for the Dead
Sea resort area.

12 and Day 13 - Dead Sea Resort-
Saturday and Sunday (B)
Enjoy these two days as you wish, enjoy the spa your deluxe facilities
and the Dead Sea nature.

14 - Departure : Dead Sea Resorts / Amman Airport - Monday (B)
We escort you to Queen Alia Airport . Bon Voyage
For guest going on to Syria with us. You will continue on to The Syrian
border, visit Bosra before continuing to Damascus. Or if you are touring
Syria on your own, we'll be glad to arrange for the transfer to Bosra
in Syria ( Supplement $165 per person,
