Tour choice : 1) Transfer from ship to Athens and back , always with a private air-conditioned vehicle, and with a private guide, to see Acropolis, Anafiotoka and walk to Plaka . Return transfer to ship. Entrance fees for the Acropolis are included.

After touring the Acropolis, then walk to Anafiotoka and then the Plaka to have lunch ( pay direct locally for lunch) .

Time permitting Ride the new Athens Subway alongside the locals today ( always escorted with your English speaking Guide) ! We take pride in affording you this experience, entirely by public transportation, with orientation by our English-speaking representative.

Covering the history of Greece from Paleolithic (pre-historic, 60000 B.C.) till present. Can easily spend over 4 hours in there. There is also a cafeteria for breaks.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL INTEREST
Temple of Olympian Zeus / Dionissos Theatre/ Ancient Agora/ Roman Agora

Tour choice : 2) Athens : 8 AM to 4 PM ( Lunch included)

Transfer from ship to Athens and back , always with a private air-conditioned vehicle, and with a private guide. Start with the visit the Acropolis i.e. visit the Propylaea, the Temple of Athina Niki, the Erechtyion, the Parthenon and then finally the museum of the Acropolis.
Then continue with a city tour to see the highlights... Constitution square (Syntagma), House of Parliamnet, Memorial to the unkown soldier, Panepistimiou avenue, St. Denis Roman Catholic cathedral, Academy, University and National library. Driving along Herod Atticus street, see the Presidential Palace and the Evzones in their traditional uniform. On the way to the Acropolis see the Panathenaic stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's arch.
Lunch is included at a charming Greek restaurant . Then free time in the Plaka , shopping etc...
Afternoon we may visit 1 museum ( suggesting either the National Archaeological museum or the Benaki museum). Entrance fees included . Return to ship by 16:00
