DAY 1 - Saturday - Weekly : May -Oct - ARRIVAL IN Sicily-Palermo (D)
Arrive at Palermo Airport, our local rep will meet you and assist with
your private transfer to your hotel .
Dinner is served at the hotel .Evening at leisure. Before dinner enjoy
a welcome cocktail and meet with tour guide for tour presentation. Dinner
and overnight stay.
DAY
2
- Sunday:
SELINUNTE/ERICE/SEGESTA/AGRIGENTO (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Segesta and visit the Doric temples
of the 5th century AD. Proceed to Erice and enjoy a bus tour, and lunch
during the excursions. Visit the archaeological sites of Selinunte in
the afternoon before departure for Agrigento. Arrival at hotel, settle
in and enjoy dinner. After dinner we will enjoy a special "by night"
walk of the Temples valley.
DAY
3 - Monday:
AGRIGENTO/PIAZZA ARMERINA (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel followed by tour of the fascinating Temples Valley.
Lunch will be taken during the excursions, after which we will depart
for Piazza Armerina and visit the splendid Roman villa known as "Del
Casale", famous for its mosaics. Proceed to Catania or the outskirts,
dinner and overnight stay.
DAY
4 - Tuesday:
SYRACUSE/CATANIA (BLD)
Breakfast at the hotel followed by full day excursion to Syracuse; the
most beautiful ancient Greek colony in Sicily displaying ancient Greek/Roman
ruins and monuments. The excursion includes tour of the Greek theatre,
Roman amphitheatre, the Latomia where lies the "Orecchio di Dionisio"
meaning "ear of Dionysius", as well as the Temple of Minerva and the
Arethusa temple. Lunch during excursion, followed by a bus tour of the
city of Catania. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY
5
- Wednesday:
ETNA/TAORMINA (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel followed by departure for Etna, going upto 1800m
by bus, from where you can take an optional excursions by jeep upto
the craters (payable locally) with an authorised guide. Lunch will be
taken during the excursions. In the afternoon enjoy a visit of Taormina
centre and the Greek Theatre. Enjoy time at your own leisure for shopping
or exploring. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY
6 - Thursday:
MESSINA/TINDARI/CEFALU' (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Messina. Visit the Duomo and belltower,
which represents Italy's most significant astrological clock. Proceed
for Tindari and visit the Roman-Greek theatre and the Sanctuary of the
Black Madonna. We will then proceed for Cefalù, enjoy lunch and visit
the charming town. Proceed for Palermo, arrival in hotel, dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY
7
- Friday:
PALERMO/MONREALE (BLD)
Breakfast in hotel followed by guided visit to the city of Palermo;
in particular the historic centre, following by a visit of Monreale,
the Duomo and cloister. Lunch at hotel, followed by an excursion to
Mondello, Mount Pellegrino and Favorita. Return to hotel, dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY
8- Saturday: Erice
(B)
Breakfast at the hotel . Half
day excursion to Erice, a medieval
town full of myth, history and art which sits on top of Mt. Erice, overlooking
the city of Trapani and the Egadi Islands. Panoramic tour of the salt-woks
of Trapani. Dinner and overnight in your Hotel.

9 - Sunday: Palermo /
Departure (B)
Breakfast as usual is included at the hotel . Transfer to Palermo Airport
. End of our services . Bon Voyage . Combine with Puglia .
