Come
with us to the romance of Paris, spend two days and nights in Paris,
then 7 days adventure to Casablanca, Fez and Marrakech . (Extend your
stay in either or both cities, if you like.)
DAY
1 - PARIS - Daily - Year round
You arrive in Paris, City of Light. Our staff will meet you at the airport
and escort you to your hotel near the Champs-Elysees. Refresh yourself,
then head out into the city with your Lonely Planet guidebook, provided
to you at no extra cost as part of your tour.
DAY
2 - PARIS (B)
Today our group tour - Seat in a coach half-day city tour shows you the
top sights of Paris, including Place de l'Opera, Place de la Concorde,
Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower (with admission
to the first level), La Bastille, and the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Then
we take you on a short cruise down the Seine through the heart of Paris.
In the afternoon, take your Lonely Planet guidebook and explore the lesser-known
sights on your own, choosing as you like. We'll be happy to help with
tips and suggestions.
DAY
3 - PARIS (B)
Breakfsat is included always ta the hotel. Full day at leisure. Explore
Paris on your own as you wish.
Evening Tour of Paris : CityRama Tour : The Magic of Paris at night: Magical
and magnificent by night , a drive through Paris with its beautiful illuminated
buildings should not be missed by any visitor to Paris. Every evening
at 7 PM (Except on Dec 31) , also every evening at 10 PM , except on June
21 and July 14 . Duration 1:30 Hour. Transfer is included from hotel to
Cityrama terminal , but return on your own to the hotel after the tour.
DAY
4 - PARIS / Marrakech (B)
We escort you to the airport for your flight southward across the Mediterranean
to the land of Kasbahs. Air fare is included Paris Marrakech in economy
class . Come
with us! As Crosby, Stills & Nash sing, "We're riding on the Marrakech
Expressly taking us to Marrakech!" You arrive in the Kingdom of Morocco,
landing at Marrakech , where our local rep. greets you at the airport
and escorts you to your hotel. Then, take your first plunge into this
wonderful, exotic city.
DAY
5 - MARRAKECH (BL)
There is much to see in this great city which Winston Churchill called
"the most beautiful place in the world at sunset." Guided sightseeing
to explore! The top sights include the stately Koutoubia Minaret, the
hidden tombs of the Saadian dynasty, the Menara pavilion and gardens,
the ruins of sprawling Badi Palace, the Bahia Palace Museum, the Ben Yousef
medersa, and the Koubba (chapel) of el-Ba'adiyn. Lunch included at a local
restaurant.
DAY
6 - MARRAKECH (B)
Your own activities: Why not devote today to Marrakech's fabulous medieval
souk (bazaar)? Penetrating the labyrinthine souk, you'll see some of the
age-old guilds at work, including the dyers and tanners. Save an hour--and
bring your camera--for famous Djemaa el-Fna square with its circus atmosphere
of itinerant dancers, jugglers, acrobats, storytellers, soothsayers, snake
charmers, medicine men and public scribes. Find a cozy bistro for lunch,
and perhaps an elegant restaurant for dinner--it's all up to you.
DAY
7 - MARRAKECH TO CASABLANCA (B)
Today you board the Marrakech Express bound for Casablanca! Roll across
the beautiful Moroccan countryside, admiring the towering Atlas Mountains
in the distance, and the timeless scenes of North African village and
town life right beside the rails. When you arrive in Casablanca, our staff
meets your train and escorts you to your hotel. Once you're settled in,
take out your guidebook and explore Morocco's commercial capital.
DAY
8 - CASABLANCA TO FEZ (B)
After breakfast, board your first-class train to Fez, another of Morocco's
four royal cities. When you arrive in Fez, our staff will escort you to
your hotel, and the city is yours to explore, guidebook in hand. The Lonely
Planet guide includes all the important things to see, and recommendations
for restaurants in all price ranges, so you'll never be at a loss for
advice.
DAY
9 - FEZ (BL)
Oldest
of Morocco's four Imperial Cities, Fez is endlessly fascinating, and today
guided touring includes the top sights: the Medina (old city), the 15-century
Borj Nord Arms Museum, the gateway of the royal palace, the fortifications
of the Kasbah, the 9th-century Karaouine Mosque and University, the medersas
(theological seminaries) of Bou Inania and Attarine, the shrine of the
city's founder Moulay Idris II, the Nejjarine Fountain, the monumental
gateway of Bab Boujelloud, the old harem gardens, Dar Batha Museum, and
the artisans' guilds in the souks.
DAY
10 - DEPARTURE From Fez or Casablanca (B)
Our local rep escorts you to the airport if you prefer tofly out of Casablanca,
please advise us in advance, no additionalfee for the transfer to Casablanca
by air or land . Bon Voyage .
