DAY
1 - PARIS - Daily Arrival - Year Round
You arrive in Paris, City of Light. Our local rep. will meet you at the
airport and escort you to your hotel near the Champs-Elysees. Transfers
are always on a private basis.
Refresh yourself, then head out into the city with your Lonely Planet
guidebook, provided to you at no extra cost as part of your tour. Why
not drop by the Gare de l'Est, from which the original Orient Express
pulled out on October 4, 1883, bound for Constantinople? Or search for
Byzantine and Ottoman treasures in the museums of Paris?.
DAY
2 - PARIS (B)
Today our half-day private city tour shows you the top sights of Paris,
including Place de l'Opera, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees, Arc
de Triomphe, Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower (with admission to the first
level), La Bastille, and the Cathedral of Nortre Dame. Then we take you
on a short cruise down the Seine thorough the heart of Paris. The afternoon
is yours.
Evening
Tour of Paris : CityRama Tour : The Magic of Paris at night: Magical and
magnificent by night , a drive through Paris with its beautiful illuminated
buildings should not be missed by any visitor to Paris. Every evening
at 7 PM (Except on Dec 31) , also every evening at 10 PM , except on June
21 and July 14 . Duration 1:30 Hour. Transfer is included from hotel to
Cityrama terminal , but return on your own to the hotel after the tour,
or add $ 20 (total for the transfer at the end after the tour). Tour ends
at the Opera Pyramids Square.

3 - PARIS (B)
Full day at leisure, explore Paris as you wish or ask us for optional
tours.

One more full day at leisure in the city of light Paris offers you
a wealth of Museums, and sites that no doubt will fill your day.

5 - PARIS - Fly to ISTANBUL (B)
We escort you to the airport for your flight eastward
across Europe, the Alps and the Balkans to Istanbul, air fare is included
one way Paris Istanbul in economy class, tax included . Our local rep.
greets you at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport and escorts you to your hotel.
Take your trusty Lonely Planet guidebook, a Travel in Style bonus, and
set out to explore this great imperial city, the "Paris of the East."
In the evening, join us for a glass of traditional Turkish cay (tea),
meet your guide, and plan the next days' adventures.
DAY
6 - ISTANBUL (BLD)
Our full-day city tour shows you all of Istanbul's important monuments,
including Topkapi, the palace of the Ottoman sultans; Hagia Sophia,
the greatest church in Christendom for a thousand years; the graceful
Blue Mosque; the Byzantine Hippodrome, scene of chariot races and gladiatorial
combat; and the eerie Sunken Palace cistern beneath it. We continue with
a drive through more modern neighborhoods to penetrate the labyrinth of
the Grand Bazaar for a shopping spree among its 4000 stores and boutiques.
Lunch is included at a charming local restaurant. In the evening your
private chauffeur will call on you : evening dinner and fold show.
DAY
7 - ISTANBUL (BL)
After breakfast, we board a ferryboat and cruise northward along the Bosphorus,
the wide saltwater strait which joins the Black and Marmara seas, and
separates the continents of Europe and Asia. Enjoy a glass of tea or a
cup of Turkish coffee as we cruise past sumptuous palaces and traditional
wooden mansions and villas. We disembark at a fishing village to enjoy
a seafood lunch at a local restaurant, then drive south along the Bosphorus
shore to Istanbul.
DAY
8- ISTANBUL (BL)
ISTANBUL-
"Imperial Constantinople in the Belle Epoque"
(late 19th century), the exotic romance of the "Paris of the East:"
Morning walking tour : We start with our guide in Karaköy where the
foreign bankers and shipping companies had their headquarters, then take
the Tünel up to istiklal Caddesi; stop in the whirling dervish tekke,
and walk past the various old embassy buildings (now consulates), and
point out the architecture. Stop for tea (included) at the famous
Pera Palace Hotel.
Walk at least as far as Galatasaray Square, and have lunch in the
Çicek Pasaji (Flower Passage); then walk up to Taksim Square and be picked
up for the afternoon tour.
In the afternoon the tour visit Yildiz Palace Park and the Ihlamur Kasri,
a mini-palace south of Yildiz, and finish up with a visit to the Military
History Museum in Harbiye in time to hear the "Mehter," or Ottoman military
band (mid-afternoon).
Then
go on a shopping spree at the labyrinth of the Grand Bazaar.
