1 - Istanbul - Daily arrival - Year Round
Arrive at Istanbul Airport. Our driver and local REP. meet you at the
exit gate of Istanbul Airport, with a sign that will have your name
, and transfers you to your hotel. Rest of the day on your own. Overnight
at the Fours Seasons Hotel in Istanbul . Private

Day 2 - (Breakfast . Lunch ) - Istanbul
We first stroll to the great square which was once the Byzantine Hippodrome.
Now it is a great park like area surrounded by the Blue Mosque, Hagia
Sophia, and the Underground Cistern, commonly called the Basilica Cistern.
After lunch at a local restaurant, retracing our steps we walk to the
Topkapi Palace, more than a palace, it is an assemblage of museums,
containing the collections amassed by the Sultans over almost five centuries.
After Topkapi Palace, we finish the day with Grand Bazaar visit, world’s
largest covered market. Shops selling the same kind of merchandise congregate
in the same area and there are 18 entrances and more than 4000 shops
in the entire complex. Private

Day
3 - (Breakfast . Dinner ) - Istanbul /
Kayseri
Off to Istanbul Airport and board your flight to Kayseri. Your private
guide and driver will meet you at the exit gate of the airport and transfer
you to your beautiful cave hotel in Urgup. Overnight in Urgup.
Enjoy your hotel and surroundings . Welcome dinner is served at the
hotel with our compliments.

Day
4 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Cappadocia : Zelve / Fairy
Chimneys / Göreme
Our first real encounter with Cappadocia’s almost Martian landscape
is in the Dervent valley, where the rock formations are amazing. A walk
through the Zelve Open Air Museum is a journey into the past, with its
troglodyte houses. This is one of the earliest inhabited and latest
abandoned monastic settlements in Cappadocia. After Zelve we visit Pasabag’s
“fairy chimneys”, where the voice of the wind harmonizes
with the songs of the fairies. From here we pause at Avanos, a centre
of terracotta art since 3,000 BC, for a demonstration in a traditional
pottery workshop. After lunch in Avanos, we visit the famous Göreme
Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia.
These are found in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings dating
from as early as the 10th century. We complete the tour with a visit
to the UÇhisar Rock-Castle, giving you a panoramic view of the
valleys of Cappadocia. Overnight in Urgup.

Day
5 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Cappadocia : Soganli /
Mustafapasa / The underground city of Kaymakli
Our
first stop is the Soganli valley, which is one of the earliest settlements
in Cappadocia. After this, we drive to Mustafapasa through the unspoiled
villages of Cappadocia, surrounded by the “table-top” mountains.
On the way we visit the Medrese in Taskinpasa, a Theological School
of the Seljuk Turks. After lunch in Mustafapasa at an old Greek house
hosted by a local family, we descend towards the centre of the earth
at the underground city of Kaymakli, one of the largest and deepest
of Cappadocia’s many such settlements. Overnight in Urgup.
Day
6 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Cappadocia / Konya / Antalya
As
we check out, we start our long but pleasant and spectacular drive to
Antalya. We make a visit to the Sultanhan Caravanserai, where the medieval
merchants used to stay overnight, then we stop at Konya to visit the
world famous Mevlana Museum, formerly the place where the mystic philosophy
of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi was taught. Strolling through the streets
of Konya, we will have lunch at a local restaurant before heading on
to Antalya. Overnight in Antalya.Your

Day
7 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Antalya/ Kalkan
In
the morning we first visit Antalya Archaeology Museum to see the best
artifacts taken from the sites to be visited today. Using your imagination,
you can put these artifacts into their original settings as we visit
Thermessos, with its beautiful view; then Perge, the capital of ancient
Pamphylia; and yes, we save the best to the last: Aspendos, the world's
best preserved ancient theatre. Now we drive to Kalkan with the pine
forests on our right and the turquoise blue waters on our left. Overnight
in Kalkan.

8 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Kalkan /
Xantos / Bodrum
Today we drive to Bodrum. On the way we visit Xantos. Overnight in Bodrum.

9 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Kalkan /
Didyma / Miletus / Pirenne / Kusadasi
Today
we drive up to Kusadasi. We first visit Didyma en route, important for
its sanctuary of Apollo and oracle. As we drive further North, we stop
at Miletus, then head on to Prienne which, in its day, was a leading
member of the Panionic League. As we arrive in Kusadasi, we will have
the chance to see the sun setting over the Bay of Kusadasi. Overnight
in Kusadasi. Your

Day
10 - ( Breakfast . Lunch ) - Ephesus /Istanbul
Today
we first drive to the Virgin Mary's House; after that we visit Ephesus
which was founded in the eleventh century BC by the Ionians. Strolling
through the streets of Ephesus, we will witness the perfection of the
Greco-Roman Art. Later in the afternoon we will visit St John's Basilica,
believed to be the tomb of the Apostle John, Christ's beloved disciple.
From the basilica, we will be able to look down on the remains of the
temple of Artemis. We end the day with our visit to the Isa Bey Mosque.
After this, we are transferred to Izmir Airport for the evening flight
to Istanbul. Another transfer from Istanbul Airport to our hotel. Overnight

11 - ( Breakfast ) - Istanbul
Today
enjoy a full day at leisure , or explore the city as you wish on your
own.
Day 12 - (Breakfast . Lunch ) - Istanbul
We start our second day in Istanbul with a exploring Spice Market and
Rustem Pasha Mosque, then get on board and take a leisurely Bosphorus
Cruise from Eminonu, to the still unspoiled village of Sariyer. After
lunch in a local restaurant we visit the Dolmabahçe Palace; overlooking
the Bosphorus, it is definitely incomparable with 14 tons of pure gold
used for its interior decoration, its priceless paintings, furniture,
a rich collection of Bohemian crystal in addition to its famous Harem
section. We end the day with a visit to Chora Church, with its 14th
century mosaics and frescoes of almost supernatural beauty. The most
important features of the church are the frescoes and mosaics demonstrating
the finest Byzantine art forms and parallel, in time, developments in
Italian renaissance art.

Day
13 - "Imperial Constantinople in the Belle Epoque"
(late 19th century), the exotic
romance of the "Paris of the East:" (Breakfast . Lunch )
Morning walking tour : We start with our guide in Karaköy where
the foreign bankers and shipping companies had their headquarters, then
take the Tünel up to istiklal Caddesi; stop in the whirling dervish
tekke, and walk past the various old embassy buildings (now consulates),
and point out the architecture. Stop for tea (included) at the
famous Pera Palace Hotel.
Walk at least as far as Galatasaray Square, and have lunch in
the Çicek Pasaji (Flower Passage); then walk up to Taksim Square and
be picked up for the afternoon tour. In the afternoon the tour visit
Yildiz Palace Park and the Ihlamur Kasri, a mini-palace south of Yildiz,
and finish up with a visit to the Military History Museum in Harbiye
in time to hear the "Mehter," or Ottoman military band (mid-afternoon).
