Day 1, Sunday: Tel Aviv – Jerusalem
Upon arrival to the airport you will meet our representative, VIP CLUB Meet & Greet Airport service, please see details at the bottom of the page and transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem. Tour operates: Weekly on Sundays, year round (except during major Jewish holidays such as Yum Kippur).

Day 2, Monday: Jerusalem (BL)
Bazaars – Local Restaurant – Lunch: Breakfast is included daily at your hotel. We start our explorations of Jerusalem, holy city to Christians, Jews and Muslims.

Set out to discover Jerusalem’s charms:
Today is a mix of drive and walking guided tour of the narrow bazaar streets of the Old City and the cheerful cafés of New Jerusalem. We will break at one of the local cafés/local restaurants for lunch which is included today with tea or coffee and one small bottled water for each guest and baklava or other local sweets. After lunch we tour the Dome of the Roc (subject to cancellation and or change based on prayers time), then we drive back to the hotel through the broad boulevards surrounding the modern city with the remainder of the day at leisure to relax and enjoy your hotel, or explore Jerusalem on your own as you wish.

Day 3, Tuesday: Jerusalem – sightseeing of the New City (BD)
Start the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from atop the Mt. of Olives then on to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony. We then continue to the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea scrolls, then a visit to the beautifully renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust). Afternoon drive to visit the picturesque village of Ein Karem (the traditional birth-place of John the Baptist). Return to Hotel.

Day 4, Wednesday: Jerusalem – Old City – Bethlehem (BD)
Enter through one of the gates of the walled Old City to visit the renewed Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area and the colorful bazaars. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and a view of the Shepherd’s Fields*. Return to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 5, Thursday: Beit Shean – Nazareth – Galilee (BD)
Leave Jerusalem and drive north, passing by Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Travel through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman City. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and the carpentry workshop of Joseph. On to Safed, city of the Kabala, for a walk through the mystic alleys, a visit to a synagogue and the artists’ colony. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

Day 6, Friday: Golan Heights and around the Sea of Galilee (BD)
Drive to the Golan Heights, passing by the Druze villages. Visit a former Syrian fortification on the heights. Pass by Banias, source of the Jordan River to visit the Mount of Beatitudes. Visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue and Peter’s house at Capernaum. Visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the fish and bread took place. Continue to Tiberias for a short tour of the old center of Jewish learning. Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

Day 7, Saturday: Acre – Haifa – Caesarea – Tel Aviv (BD)
After Breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, for a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city, including the Baha’i Shrine, Persian Garden, Mount Carmel and Haifa bay. Proceed southwards to Caesarea to visit the ancient port, including the Roman Theater and the Hippodrome. Continue to Tel Aviv-Jaffa for a short city tour and to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8, Sunday (BD)
Breakfast is always included at the hotel. Full day at leisure. Explore Tel Aviv on your own as you wish, or simply enjoy the Mediterranean water front and beach.

Day 9, Monday (B)
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for departure. VIP CLUB Airport service, please see details at the bottom of the page.
