DAY 1 – AMMAN -Arrive any day – Choose your own arrival day – Year Round.
Our local rep. will meet you upon arrival and help with the transfer to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 2 – Amman – Dana nature Reserve – Petra (BL)
Your own private guide will be escorting you from Amman all the way throughout the trip. Today, we drive south along the King’s Highway, an ancient caravan route. Lunch is included enroute. All our lunches on this tour include tea or coffee, as well as one large bottle of water for each guest. We will drive to the Dana Nature Reserve. For guests who will be hiking, please advise if you prefer the 2 or 4 hours hiking trail. Finally, we drive to Petra and our hotel.
Dana nature reserve:
Dana Nature Reserve is a system of valleys and mountains, which extends from the top of the Rift Valley down to the desert lowlands of Wadi Araba, an elevation drop of over 1600 meters. It embraces two major bio geographical zones and four distinct vegetation zones and contains a remarkable diversity of landscapes, ranging from wooded highlands and rocky slopes to gravel plains and sand dunes. It supports a wide variety of wildlife, including many rare species of plants and animals. The total number of species recorded so far consists of 697 plants, 3 of which are new to science, and 282 animals. Many of these are now very rare and some threatened with extinction: animals like the Gray Wolf, Nubian Ibex, the Lesser Kestrel, Eagle Owl and the Desert Monitor Lizard.
DAY 3 – PETRA (BL)
Your own private guide will be escorting you from Amman all the way throughout the trip. Today the fabulous Nabatean City of Petra awaits us. Made famous in the Indiana Jones movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” its ancient temples, tombs and striking Khazneh (Treasury) were hewn right from the pink and violet sandstone. ride into Petra on a horse or a camel, as you wish.
DAY 4 – PETRA- WADI RUM CAMPING (BLD)
Your guide will escort you to Wadi Rum, where we board four-wheel-drive vehicles for an expedition to Wadi Rum, the “Valley of the Moon” where T. E. Lawrence (“Lawrence of Arabia”) organized Arab resistance to Ottoman rule during World War I. Lunch box is included. After our visit we head to one of the local camp sites. It is essential to take several layers of clothes, including warm layers. This is desert weather, so there is a great drop and / or increase in temperatures with sunrise / sunset. We will deliver to you a NEW unused sleeping bag with our compliments, in case you wish to use one.
Sample camp site: the Bait Ali Desert Camp, or the RSCN Rummana Campsite at the Dana Nature Reserve (Dana is not in Wadi Rum please see the map). You may have the choice as well to camp with the bedouins. This is even more basic with no modern toilet facilities. This is an exotic and memorable experience and will enable you to experience something of the Bedouin’s desert culture. If camping is not your cup of tea, then we will simply head back to the hotel in Petra and overnight. Dinner is included camp style or at your hotel.

Tourist Camp Sites:
Pre-assigned sites and set camps where accommodation is arranged in the usual camping tents, like you may find at home (not Bedouin Tents). Showers, bathrooms and restaurants are available in each camp site.
Bedouin camps:
These are not pre-fixed sites. You will be indeed in the heart of the bedouin desert environment and culture, and you will be in direct contact and interacting with the Bedouins. These Bedouin camps have Bedouin tents that are divided into small rooms for the guests to sleep. Other tents are used for sitting (as your living room per say) and eating. They also may or may not have basic toilets and a small kitchen where food is prepare for the guests by the Bedouins. Guests who enjoy nature and the desert scenery will fall in love with these camps and the authentic Bedouin experience in Wadi Rum.

DAY 5- WADI RUM -Madaba – The Dead Sea (BL)
After an early breakfast we enjoy morning camel ride before we change our mode of transportation and drive back north to Madaba to visit the church containing the oldest known map of the Holy Land, continuing to Mount Nebo, we enjoy the panoramic view of the Promised Land the way Moses saw it for the first time and on to the Dead Sea,the lowest spot on Earth and experience floating in the waters of the Dead Sea, where we spend the night.

We drive to Amman’s Queen Alia Airport, departure tax is included in our rate. Bon Voyage.
