MalaMala Main Camp

As one of the oldest lodges in the Sabi Sands, this beautiful lodge has one of the prime locations in Sabi Sand reserve. If you want to have an authentic South-Africa wildlife experience plus a luxurious comfortable stay, then the Mala Mala Main Camp is the perfect accommodation for you. The lodge is situated right next to the banks of the Sands river. Spot wild animals only a few meters from your bed, on the large wooden veranda where you have an elevated view on all the animals that are drinking from the river. An unique experience! Victoria Falls

In some months, such as October and November, the Zambezi River is very low and as the channel on the Zimbabwean side is deeper than that on the Zambian side, the falls may not actually have any water flowing over them at all from the Zambian side while the falls from the Zimbabwean side always has water! Once again this is very limited to very short periods of time, depending on weather and other factors which no one can control. Of course one can stay on the Zambian side as the program states and do a day trip across to Zimbabwe. This will require a dual entry visa for Zambia and single entry visa for Zimbabwe.

Yellow Fever Vaccination

Yellow Fever Vaccinations are required for entry into Zambia and re-entry in South Africa.

    • Dear Fatima, Omar, and Travel In Style Staff: We had such a WONDERFUL vacation that it has taken us more than a week to stop feeling sad about our return home and to regular life. :) From the moment we passed through customs in Athens to the moment we passed through passport control on our way out of Cairo, Josiah and I were treated with the utmost care and respect.
